Reader Poll: Has Your Cell Phone Replaced Your Watch?

The San Diego Union Tribute reports that wristwatch sales declined 25 percent between 2003 and 2005, supposedly because people use their mobile phones to tell the time—which seems extreme, but maybe we’re old-fashioned. We want to know: Has your cell phone replaced your watch?

Interesting poll at lifehacker.

Have to admit that up until recently I was using my phone to tell the time instead of a watch, as are most of the people in the poll. I did buy a watch last week but mostly because I liked how it looked rather then a burning need for a timepiece.
