I spent a lot of time today browsing through the excellent Garfield mash up/parody site Square Root of Minus Garfield and decided to submit a strip.Here it is, it’s is a rework of a strip from August 23, 2007. I’ve spent the last couple of years revealing what a sad, lonely, loser Jon is, so with this strip I’ve decided to turn him into the world’s smoothest lover. I’ve removed Garfield (of course), moved stuff around, chopped things up and replaced the original text. Here we have Jon serenading his lover with the first few lines from Hey That’s No Way to Say Goodbye by Leonard Cohen. Smooth.
