Government backdating new income levy rates to start of year - The Irish Times - Thu, Apr 16, 2009

THE GOVERNMENT is backdating the new, higher income levy rates to the start of 2009, despite earlier indications that the rates would only come into force on May 1st.

This is going to screw me up royally. I’ve had it with Ireland, I mean really I’ve had it. The government is astoundingly incompetent, I actually just can’t get my head around how bad they are. I’ve started looking at options for emigrating.
If anyone one out there wants to give me a job outside of Ireland let me know…
