This last year has been fascinating. The last few, actually. Two years ago today I was moving to Toronto, for the 4th time 3 years, to begin working on @shazammovie, one of the single greatest gifts I’ve ever been handed. Ironically, just 4 months prior, I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to live anymore. My goals, and visions, and hopes, and dreams, and therefore expectations for myself, have always been a lot. So much so that when I surveyed my life a few years back, I genuinely felt like I was failing it. Failing myself. Failing my family. Failing the world. I didn’t feel worthy of the love that was around me. I didn’t feel worthy of any of the things I had achieved up to that point. And, when presented with an opportunity to audition for Shazam! the first time, I turned down the opportunity as I ultimately didn’t feel worthy of such a role. Then came therapy. Then came the beginning of finally loving myself. And THEN came the miracle that was me stepping into this life changing role. I will no doubt be on the journey of self love for the rest of life, and I’m so grateful for the lessons and strength found thru the darkness. But I will also be forever indebted to @ponysmasher, Peter Safran, @rbpix, and everyone at @newlinecinema and @wbpictures and @dccomics, for believing I was worthy of wearing this cape, even while I was still learning to believe that myself. ???? . (Thank you, @jimlee, for this incredible artwork. You’ve always been one of my favorite comic artists. And now you’re my friend. ????????)

«This past year has been fascinating. The last ones, actually«Levi expressed in the publication. «Two years ago I moved to Toronto for the fourth time to start working on Shazam !, one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever been given. Ironically, only 4 months before, he wasn’t even sure if he wanted to continue living. My goals, visions, hopes, dreams, and therefore the expectations for me, have always been many«.

He further revealed: «When I examined my life a few years ago, I genuinely felt that I was failing. Failing myself. Failing my family. Failing the world. I did not feel worthy of the love that surrounded me. I did not feel worthy of any of the things that I had achieved up to that point. And, when I got the opportunity to audition for Shazam! the first time, I rejected her because finally I did not feel worthy of such a role “declared the star.

However, after working on his problems and insecurities in therapy, the actor found the necessary strength to take the leap and be chosen for the long-awaited role: “Without a doubt, I will be on the journey of self-love for the rest of my life, and I am very grateful for the lessons and the strength that I found through the darkness.”Levi stated. He also filled the team and production with praise, not only for giving him the opportunity but for making him feel worthy of wearing the hero’s cape.

«Shazam!»It was quite a surprise at the beginning of the year, with a much more cheerful and familiar proposal to deliveries than what Warner DC he got us used to it. The good reception of the film assured him a sequel that has a release date scheduled for April 2020. It also gave the necessary power to the delayed solo film of his nemesis, “Black Adam”, Which got its green light recently as we review in this other note.
