Marvel’s Chris Pratt in first look at Amazon TV series

Chris Pratt has a lot coming up: Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3, the Super Mario movie, Jurassic World: Dominion, Thor: Love and Thunder, the Garfield reboot… and now he’s adding to that list.

Another project he’s got in the pipeline is an Amazon Original series titled The Terminal List, based on a novel of the same name by Jack Carr.

Pratt stars as James Reece, a Navy SEAL whose entire platoon is ambushed during a mission. The finger is pointing the blame at him, and his own memories of the event seem foggy, but as new evidence comes to light, he learns of a conspiracy against him and must fight to save himself and his loved ones from being silenced.

Amazon have released a first-look image at the series, and it features Pratt looking suitably Navy SEAL-like, scowling as he drags someone along on the ground.

The series features a large cast that also includes Crazy Rich Asians‘ Constance Wu, X-Men Origins: Wolverine‘s Taylor Kitsch, Terminator: Genisys‘ Jai Courtney, Arnold Shwarzenegger’s son and Pratt’s brother-in-law Patrick Shwarzenegger, and Guardians‘ Sean Gunn, just to name a few.

Last year, Pratt spoke about the fourth Thor movie, which the Guardians are featuring in, stating: “[Chris] Hemsworth is great, he’s so good. People are gonna be really astounded when they see what he’s brought, what he and Taika [Waititi, the director] have brought for Thor 4. It’s next-level.

“[Hemsworth] ratcheted it up to even another level. So I was just in awe of his presence. He is a man-god in real life. It was just cool to be there with him.”

Thor: Love and Thunder has a release date of July 8, 2022.
