Ryan Reynolds and Mark Ruffalo never starred alongside each other in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but the Deadpool and Hulk stars have joined forces for an altogether different project. The Adam Project, to be precise.
Now, over a year after it was first announced, a release date for the Netflix movie has finally been confirmed.
As per USA Today, Shawn Levy’s time-travelling jaunt will make its debut on Netflix from – mark your calendars, clear out your diaries – Friday, March 11.

Directed by Night at the Museum and Free Guy‘s Shawn Levy, The Adam Project stars Walker Scoball as Adam Reed, a teenager who stumbles upon an older version of himself (Reynolds) a year on from the death of his father (Ruffalo).
Guardians of The Galaxy‘s Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner and Catherine Keener also star in the coming-of-age adventure, which forces both Adams young and old to work together to locate their dad and ultimately save humanity.
News of the movie’s release date comes 10 long months after Reynolds appeared to confirm shooting had wrapped in a social media post.
Paying tribute to his co-stars and crew, Ryan shared a touching behind-the-scenes update on The Adam Project back in March of last year.

“If The Adam Project is a fraction as beautiful and funny and wild as it was to shoot, then I guess we really pulled something off.
“Thank you [to] my spiritual, cinematic soulmate [Shawn Levy]. Also, a lingering, uncomfortably indulgent hug to my beautiful hometown of Vancouver. And in particular, the entire crew of The Adam Project who brought the ship to port four days ahead of schedule.”
